KABUL: A former officer of the CIA said Iran will not surrender to foreign pressures, and the country’s military structure is being planned precisely.
According to remarks reported by ISNA News Agency, the official said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has operated in a highly organized and strategic manner, using complex and multi-layered autonomous units.
He added that such structures are based on long-term planning and can play an effective role during crises.
The former intelligence officer also sharply criticized Donald Trump, describing him as “unstable and reckless,” and accused him of ignoring the conditions of Iran’s roughly 90 million people.
The remarks come amid ongoing political and military tensions between Iran and the United States.
