Iran’s missiles and drones hit U.S. bases in multiple countries

KABUL: Iran’s armed forces have launched a new wave of attacks targeting U.S. bases and facilities across several Middle Eastern countries, according to Iranian media reports.
The Fars News Agency and Tasnim News Agency said missile and drone strikes hit U.S.-linked facilities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain early Monday.
Saudi Arabia’s defense ministry confirmed that five ballistic missiles were fired toward a U.S. base in the eastern part of the country.
Reports also indicated explosions in Kuwait, with smoke seen rising from affected areas, while sources told Al Jazeera that a U.S. logistics support center at Victoria base in Iraq was struck by a drone.
In Bahrain, part of a U.S. airbase was reportedly damaged in a missile strike.
There has been no comprehensive confirmation from U.S. officials regarding the extent of the damage or casualties.
The reported attacks come amid rising regional tensions, despite earlier claims by U.S. President Donald Trump that Iran’s missile and drone capabilities had been significantly degraded.
