HERAT: The provincial Information and Culture Directorate said in a statement that 512 historical relics have been handed over to the museum and archive of the country’s western province of Herat within the last two years.
The relics which have been discovered by the relevant provincial officials and local people, were handed over to the museum and archive of the province, the statement said.
With the restoration of the Islamic Emirate, the smuggling of many historical artifacts has also been prevented.
