KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements, that humanitarian aid was distributed to over 5,000 thousand families in three provinces of the country.
The aids included foodstuff and cash provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and distributed to needy families in collaboration with the relevant directorates of the ministry.
The assistance was distributed to 1,816 families in the Kulfagan district of Takhar, 201 families in the Registan district of Kandahar, and around 3,500 families in Kunduz provinces.
The process of distributing humanitarian aid to needy families during the holy month of Ramadan continues in different provinces.
Two days ago, humanitarian aid was distributed to more than 30,000 families in 9 provinces of the country.
