KABUL: Afghan and Iranian officials have held talks on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran.
According to a statement from the Afghan Embassy in Tehran, Mawlavi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, acting head of the mission, met with Ali Akbar Nazari, Director General of Protocol at Iran’s Foreign Ministry.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on enhancing bilateral relations and strengthening coordination between the Afghan embassy and Iranian diplomatic institutions.
Relations between Kabul and Tehran have steadily expanded over the past four years, particularly in political, economic, and trade sectors, with expectations of further growth in the coming year.
