KABUL: A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by senior government and private sector representatives, has arrived in Kabul.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the delegation is headed by Nazimjon Khalmuradov and includes representatives from Uzbekistan’s private sector.
The ministry said the visiting delegation is expected to meet with officials of the Islamic Emirate, participate in a conference on trade relations, and hold business-to-business meetings between Afghan and Uzbek traders.
The visit comes as the two neighboring countries continue efforts to expand economic ties, investment, and regional trade cooperation.
