KABUL: An alleged hideout used by the Daesh militant group (ISIS) was targeted in a drone strike in the Qambar Khel area of Bara, in Pakistan’s Khyber District, according to Al-Mirsaad.

Citing unnamed sources, the report claimed the overnight strike hit a facility allegedly used for planning attacks, recruiting fighters, and providing training. The report further stated that the site was destroyed and that multiple militants were killed or injured.

No independent confirmation has been provided regarding the reported casualties, and Pakistani authorities have not publicly commented on the incident.

The report also claimed the facility had been used to coordinate militant operations in the surrounding area and to train new recruits.

Al-Mirsaad added that similar strikes had previously targeted alleged ISIS positions in the Jabbar Mela and Shanko areas of Khyber District, reportedly resulting in the deaths of several members of the group.
