KABUL: Former Zabul Deputy Governor Mullah Juma Khan Fateh has rejected reports and rumors claiming that he disobeyed an order from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Fateh said that recent claims circulated by several media outlets are false and without foundation.
He stressed that he remains fully committed to the directives of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership and is in complete alignment with its decisions.
The remarks come after the Islamic Emirate recently replaced him as deputy governor of Zabul Province, appointing Mullah Faizullah Tamim to the position.
