KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs has said that six individuals have been arrested in connection with theft-related crimes in various provinces across the country.
In a statement posted on its official X account today, the ministry said that anti-criminal police forces identified and arrested the suspects during several separate operations.
According to the statement, one individual was arrested in Herat province on charges of stealing two vehicles, three individuals were detained in Jawzjan province in connection with a residential burglary, one person was arrested in Paktika province on theft-related charges, and another individual was detained in Daikundi province for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
The ministry stated that investigations into the cases are ongoing.
