Economic Commissions approved construction of three hospitals in provinces

KABUL: The Economic Commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs has approved projects to construct three general hospitals in the provinces of Maidan Wardak, Badakhshan and Kunduz.

According to the office, a total of 208 million Afghanis has been allocated for the construction of the health facilities, with funding to come from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s budget.

Under the approved projects, one hospital will be constructed in Chak district of Maidan Wardak, another in Shighnan district of Badakhshan, and a third in Qala-e-Zal district of Kunduz.

The projects are expected to expand access to healthcare services and provide improved medical facilities for residents of the three districts.
