KABUL: Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi said Afghanistan’s long-term, sustainable stability is closely linked to Central Asia’s security and sustainable development.
Speaking at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Tleuberdi said humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan remains essential, but aid alone cannot break the cycle of poverty, displacement, and dependence on humanitarian assistance.
He added that Kazakhstan, in coordination with the United Nations, supports practical, coordinated, and gradual engagement with Afghanistan.
