KABUL: Minister of Public Health Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali has traveled to Belarus with a delegation to expand health cooperation and exchange experiences between the two countries.
The Ministry of Public Health said Belarusian health officials, led by Boris Andersyuk, deputy minister of public health, welcomed the Afghan delegation and described the visit as important for strengthening bilateral health cooperation.
During the visit, Jalali is scheduled to meet with senior officials of Belarus’ Ministry of Public Health and visit a state medical university, a pharmaceutical company, and specialized centers for cardiology, cancer, and medical radiology, as well as several other health institutions.
According to officials, the two sides will exchange experiences in health services, medical education, pharmaceuticals, and specialized healthcare during the visit and discuss opportunities to expand cooperation in the future.
