KABUL: Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has warned the United Arab Emirates over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Abu Dhabi.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported late Wednesday, that Rezaei was responding to Netanyahu’s visit and his meetings with UAE officials.
Rezaei said the UAE’s decision to host Netanyahu and hold talks with Israeli officials “will not have good consequences,” according to the report.
The comments came as Netanyahu traveled to Abu Dhabi for meetings with senior Emirati officials, amid ongoing regional tensions.
