Over 360 Afghans released from Pakistani prisons, return home

KABUL: A total of 362 Afghan nationals have been released from prisons in Pakistan and returned to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said.
According to a ministry statement, 57 of those released returned through the Spin Boldak crossing, while 305 entered Afghanistan through the Torkham crossing.
The ministry said the returnees were registered and received assistance from humanitarian organizations before being transported to their respective areas.
Thousands of Afghans have been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to Afghanistan over the past several years, according to Afghan authorities.
