KABUL: Trade and investment agreements worth approximately $400 million have been signed between Afghanistan’s private sector and companies from Uzbekistan and India.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment said the agreements were signed on Friday during a business networking meeting between traders and investors, held on the sidelines of the Fifth Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition in Kabul.
The chamber said the meeting aimed to expand economic cooperation, strengthen trade relations, and attract joint investment.
Participants emphasized the need to further develop economic ties, remove existing barriers to trade, and ensure the implementation of previously signed agreements.
According to officials, implementing the agreements could help expand trade and investment links between Afghanistan’s private sector and companies from Uzbekistan and India.
