Wall Street Journal: Trump and Netanyahu discussed possibility of renewed strikes on Iran

KABUL: The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, has reported that U.S. President Donald Trump discussed developments concerning Iran in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the newspaper, the call took place as Washington prepares for the possibility of resuming military strikes against Iran.

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that Trump has not yet made a decision on whether to launch an attack on Iran.

The Wall Street Journal also highlighted the potential economic consequences of a renewed conflict, including rising fuel prices in the United States and mounting political pressure on both Trump and Netanyahu.
