KABUL: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said his government is seeking to resolve the country’s current challenges and crises through dialogue and cooperation with the public, stressing that war benefits no one and that Iran’s enemies cannot force the country to surrender through military action.
According to Iranian media reports, Pezeshkian said Iran’s Supreme Leader had delegated the necessary powers to the government to address the country’s current problems.
Emphasising the need to resolve crises through dialogue, he added that his administration was working with the public to manage existing challenges.
Commenting on the possibility of war, Pezeshkian reiterated that conflict would benefit no one and said Iran’s adversaries could not compel the country to surrender through military force.
He also addressed the country’s economic and living conditions, saying the government was working to improve people’s livelihoods, support vulnerable groups, and increase domestic production.
Pezeshkian further said revenue generated from increases in diesel and energy prices would be allocated to the public, particularly those in need.
