KABUL: The United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres in a statement on his X account, on Tuesday, urged the Hamas Resistance Movement and the occupying regime of Israel, to reach an agreement for the sake of the people of Gaza and the hostages.
“As negotiations are once again underway, I strongly encourage the government of Israel and the Hamas leadership to reach an agreement. For the sake of the people of Gaza. For the sake of the hostages and their families. For the sake of the region and the wider world,” he said.
He made the remarks, while the Hamas Resistance Movement has stated that it is considering the Israeli regime’s response regarding an agreement with the movement.
In the last attack of the occupying Zionist regime which was conducted 36 hours ago, over 40 innocent Palestinians lost their lives.
It’s worth mentioning that representatives from both Hamas and Israel have traveled to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, as part of the negotiating parties.
