KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs stated that counter-narcotics police personnel arrested 16 individuals in connection with the sale of narcotics and alcoholic beverages, the ministry said in a statement today.
“The individuals have been arrested from various parts of the capital Kabul along with 69 liters of alcoholic beverages, 285 liters of fermented raisins, and 982 narcotic tablets,” said the ministry.
The detainees’ files have been handed over to justice and judicial organs for further investigation into their files.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs emphasized that the case files of the arrested individuals have been handed over to the judicial authorities.
