KABUL: The Acting Minister of Public Health Mawlavi Noorjalal Jalali met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Foreign Minister of Qatar, the ministry said in a statement today.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening the country’s health system, ways to attract assistance from the international community for the health sector, further expansion of relations between Doha and Kabul, and Qatar’s cooperation in the health sector in Afghanistan.
The Qatari Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health have promised cooperation in the mentioned areas.
It is worth noting that the Acting Minister of Public Health has also met with the Director-General of the World Health Organization during his visit to Switzerland this week.
