Construction work on 114 shelters kicked off in Sar-e-Pul, MoRR

KABUL: Construction work on 114 shelters, for the Afghan returnees worth 40 million Afghanis (some 575,450 US dollars) has been kicked off in Sar-e-Pul province, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said in a statement today.

The foundation stone of the shelter has been laid by the Technical Deputy Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Rashed, said the statement.

According to the statement, the shelters will be constructed with the financial support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), within a year.

This comes as the Islamic Emirate seeks ways to facilitate a more comfortable life for returning migrants in the country.
