KABUL: The Foreign Minister of Egypt, Badr Abdel Aati, said on Monday that peace in the region will not be achieved without halting the Israeli regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip and establishing an independent Palestinian state, media reported.
He stated that the main cause of unrest in the region is the issue of Palestine and the Israeli regime’s aggression against Gaza.
“Criticizing the international community’s silence against the massacre of the people of Gaza by the Zionist regime, he strongly condemned Israel’s policy of starving the Palestinian population.”
These statements from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry come as health officials in Gaza have reported that over 41,000 people have been martyred and more than 93,000 others injured due to the Israeli regime’s attacks on the city.
