KABUL: The Acting Education Minister Mawlavi Habibullah Agha, has stated that the only path to self-sufficiency and progress in the current circumstances is through the education of both religious and modern sciences.
He made the remarks today, during his visit to Kunar province, in a meeting with officials, teachers, and students from schools in the Chawki, Narang, and Nurgal districts, according to a statement from the ministry.
In the meeting, the Acting Minister emphasized the importance of students receiving both religious and modern education, said the statement, adding he will also assess the state of education in Kunar province during his visit.
