MAIDAN- SHAHR: The Maidan Wardak Directorate of Information and Culture organized the 22nd Gol-e Sib (Apple Flower) poetry festival in Sad Mardai vally of Nerkh district of the province.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Ministries of Information and Culture, Higher Education, Administration Affairs, local authorities, poets, cultural figures, writers, and hundreds of people from various provinces of the country.
Speaking in the ceremony, the Deputy Art and Culture Minister of Information and Culture Mawlavi Atiqullah Azizi, said that organizing such a grand festival demonstrates the unbounded love of the people with the Islamic Emirate.
Meanwhile, the organizers of the festival said the aim behind holding the festival was to promote unity and create an atmosphere of trust.
It is noteworthy that last week, the Gol-e Sanjed poetry event was also held in Logar province.
