KABUL: Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi has met with Nikita Korniyenko, Minister of International Cooperation of Russia’s Chelyabinsk Region, and his accompanying delegation.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the meeting focused on expanding economic ties between the two sides, coordinating trade-related matters, and facilitating the import of modern Russian machinery and technologies to Afghanistan.
Azizi said Chelyabinsk markets are getting preparations for creating bazar for Afghan products.
The Russian delegation also expressed interest in expanding trade between Afghanistan and the Chelyabinsk Region and invited a delegation from the Islamic Emirate to visit the region.
