KABUL: The counter-narcotics police personnel of Nangarhar province have discovered and destroyed a factory producing “Tablet-K” during a special operation in the Abzagan area of Ghani Khel district.
Sayed Tayeb Hamad, spokesperson for the Nangarhar police command, said the factory was operating inside a residential house and that, during a search of the facility, authorities seized 15,110 Tablet-K pills, four kilograms of raw materials, 320 grams of methamphetamine, 400 grams of hashish, 2,500 liters of chemical liquid materials, and molds used to produce the tablets.
Hamad said the person responsible for the factory was not present at the time of the operation and is currently under investigation by intelligence authorities.
Nangarhar police said counter-narcotics operations and investigative measures will continue to prevent the production and trafficking of illegal drugs in the province.
