Construction work on two water supply projects kicked off in two provinces

KABUL: Construction work on three water supply networks worth 8.4 million Afghanis has been kicked off in Helmand and Farah provinces, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements on Thursday.

The projects will be constructed in Shewan village, Balla Blok district of Farah and Kocheyan village, Garmsir district of Helmand province, with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

With the completion of the projects, safe drinking water will be provided to 400 families, said the statement
