KABUL: Ahmed Al-Sharaa, the president of the Syrian Transitional Government, is set to make his first foreign trip to Saudi Arabia, Al-Arabiya news agency reported this morning.
It is expected that the transitional president will depart for Riyadh today (Sunday, February 2) and meet with Saudi officials.
This is Ahmed Al-Sharaa’s first foreign trip since his official election as president of the transitional government.
Details of Al-Sharaa’s visit to Saudi Arabia and the agenda for his discussions with officials from the country are not yet known.
