“Positive interaction with tourists presents Afghanistan’s positive image to world,” Minister Haqqani

KABUL: Shaikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani, the Minister of Information and Culture, stated that positive interactions with tourists, particularly foreign nationals, will present a positive image of Afghanistan to the world.

According to Omid Radio correspondent, he made the remarks today at a graduation ceremony for students of the Hotel Management Institute in Kabul.

The Minister emphasized that a good environment for tourism has currently been established for foreign visitors and urged the graduates to conduct themselves appropriately in their interactions with tourists.

He evaluated the role of tourists as significant for the economic development of countries.

In the first graduation of the Hotel Management Institute under the Tourism Directorate of the Ministry of Information and Culture in the past four years, 27 students graduated.

This institute, established in 2012, had been inactive under the previous administration for various reasons. After the return of the Islamic Emirate, the Ministry of Information and Culture worked to revive the institute, leading to its reopening.
