KABUL: The Ministry of National Defense of Afghanistan says Afghan forces have made significant achievements since the launch of operations against Pakistani military forces.
In a video statement released Monday, ministry spokesperson Enayatullah Khwarazmi said Afghan forces have captured 25 Pakistani military posts and killed 100 Pakistani troops in recent days.
Khwarazmi also urged citizens not to be worried by gunfire, explaining that Afghan defense and security forces are using aerial machine-gun fire to counter Pakistani military aircraft during cross-border engagements.
He called on the public to maintain full confidence in the country’s defense and security forces, describing them as “loyal sons of Afghanistan.”
The statement comes as Afghan forces continue operations under the name “Rad al-Zulm,” with the ministry recently reporting the destruction of a Pakistani armored tank.
