KABUL: Iran’s fresh missile and drone attack has struck a U.S. military facility in Saudi Arabia, wounding at least 10 personnel and damaging several refueling aircraft, according to media reports.
The strike targeted the Prince Sultan Air Base, which hosts U.S. forces, The New Arab reported.
U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the attack involved both missiles and drones, adding that two of the wounded are in critical condition.
Several refueling aircraft were reportedly damaged, though the extent of the damage remains unclear.
The attack comes a day after Donald Trump said Iran had been “completely destroyed,” and follows earlier warnings from Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi that U.S. interests remain within reach of Iranian forces.
