KABUL: Russia’s Ministry of Defense has announced that its forces have captured the village of Rozkishne in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk Oblast.
Russian media also reported that Russian troops had taken control of the settlement of Okhrimivka in the Kharkiv Oblast region.
Ukraine has not yet commented on the reported capture of the areas. However, Ukrainian officials have acknowledged that Russian forces have been conducting attacks around Okhrimivka.
Russia is claiming a series of territorial gains in recent months while pushing Ukrainian forces back in several sectors of the battlefield.
