KABU: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan TTP has claimed that its fighters seized a police post known as “Mir Bagh” in the central area of Kurram District.
In a statement, the group said it had also obtained a quantity of weapons following the capture of the facility.
Videos circulated by the group appear to show TTP fighters moving a Pakistani police officer from one location to another during the reported clashes.
Pakistani government officials and security agencies have not yet commented on or independently confirmed the claim.
