KABUL: Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi has expressed Tehran’s readiness to help initiate dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi movement during a phone call with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported on Monday morning that Araghchi voiced concern over escalating regional tensions and stressed that the ongoing crises cannot be resolved through military means.
The offer comes amid reports of increased Houthi missile and drone attacks targeting parts of Saudi Arabia in recent days, raising concerns about a further escalation of regional conflicts.
