KABUL: Farid Dehqan, police spokesman of Kunar, said today that as a result of hell slide, three members of a family lost their lives, and three others were wounded.
“A portion of a mountain collapsed, causing the roof of a residential home to cave in last night in the Galsak area of the Chapdara district of Kunar province, resulting in the martyrdom of three members of a family and injuries of three others,” he said.
The spokesperson added that the home of an individual named Safiullah has been completely destroyed due to this natural disaster.
The injured individuals have been transferred to the provincial hospital in Asadabad, the capital of Kunar province, for treatment.
Details regarding the identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
