KABUL: A delegation led by Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanifi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs and Chairman of the High Commission for the Return of Afghan Refugees, has visited Torkham to address the issues faced by returning citizens.
Welcoming the newly returned Afghan refugees, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated: “As the responsible government, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to taking decisive steps in providing living facilities for all Afghan citizens, especially newly returned individuals.”
He further stated that efforts would be made to provide business opportunities, shelter, healthcare facilities, and other services in both the short and long term.
Also, officials from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs assured the returning citizens that all available resources would be utilized and job opportunities would be created for them.
It is noteworthy that the deputy prime minister was accompanied by a number of officials from various ministries and major agencies.
