KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump stated in response to reporters’ questions that he believes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is “ready” to hand over Crimea to Russia as part of a peace agreement.
He also urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to cease fire and sign a treaty.
This comes at a time when Ukraine has repeatedly emphasized that it will not accept any territorial concessions before a ceasefire is established.
