IEA Leader urged officials to avoid arrogance, pride, disunity and mistrust

KABUL: The esteemed Amir-ul Momineen, Shaikh-ul Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, in a meeting with the Emirati officials in Kabul, urged them not to fear anyone and to uphold Islamic law without compromise, Arg said in a statement on Friday.
He made the remarks during a one-day training workshop for civil and military officials, here in Kabul.
According to the statement, the leader of the Islamic Emirate called on officials to avoid arrogance, pride, disunity, and mistrust. He noted that for centuries, scholars and virtuous individuals had been kept away from politics and social worship, while the world sought to marginalize them.
He stressed that now, however, politics in Afghanistan is in the hands of scholars and righteous people.
The leader also highlighted that enemies are attempting to create discord and disunity among Emirati officials through propaganda, urging them to fight against such influences just as they did during the twenty-year jihad.
This comes at a time when, since the return of the Islamic Emirate, scholars have taken over many official positions and responsibilities.
