KABUL: The cabinet meeting was held with Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, on the chair, discussing economic, cultural and social issues, Arg said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, a delegation led by Haji Abdul Qahir, head of the National Statistics and Information Authority, was assigned to comprehensively review the country’s population census plan and report its results to the next meeting.
Also, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing was tasked with accelerating the procedures related to the design and approval of construction projects.
The cabinet also held discussions on some economic, social, and cultural issues.
The cabinet meeting ordered the Ministry of Urban Development to expedite the process of construction drawing plans, while recently, in a special meeting of the Economic Commission, the Leader of the Islamic Emirate emphasized completing the procurement and issuance of building visas within 15 days.
