Mawlavi Abdul Kabir: Doha meeting will be held for expansion of the world’s interaction with Islamic Emirate

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, yesterday during a large gathering in Jalalabad capital of Nangarhar stated that the United Nations meeting on Afghanistan is being held in Doha, Qatar, with the aim of expanding the world’s interaction with the Islamic Emirate.

The statement quoted Mawlavi Abdul Kabir as saying, “The Islamic Emirate by adopting economy-centric foreign policy, is trying to expand positive relations with all countries, especially neighbors.”

Afghanistan does not seek to create conflicts with any country, he said.

In the gathering, the elders and influential figures of Nangarhar province raised their concerns regarding the initiation of practical work on the second phase of the Kabul-Jalalabad highway, the completion of the Jalalabad-Torkham highway, addressing issues related to industrial parks in Nangarhar, facilitating countrymen travel in Torkham, and addressing the problems faced by traders in Peshawar, Pakistan, according to the statement.

It should be mentioned that recently, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs has intensified his provincial trips, in order to assess people’s problems.
