Work on power supply project worth 15.5 million Afghanis begins in Khost

KABUL: Work on a power supply project worth 15.5 million Afghani has been started in the country’s southern province of Khost, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) said in a statement yesterday.

According to the statement, using the project, it is planned to install a transformer substation and expand the power distribution network in Khost province over the next two months.

With the inauguration of the project, about 2,000 new subscribers of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, will benefit from electricity in Khost.

After the reestablishment of the Islamic Emirate, efforts have been intensified to facilitate various sectors for the people.
