KABUL: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi in a meeting with the Secretary-General Special Representative for Afghanistan and Head of UNAMA. Roza Otunbayeva said that the UN-led meeting in Doha had not a particular result.
Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdul Qahar Balkhi quoting Minister Muttqi said in a statement on his X account that the Islamic Emirate closely monitored the Doha meeting and observed that the meeting had not a particular result.
Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi expressed hope that the interaction meeting with Afghanistan will have a positive outcome.
In the meeting, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi said: “The effectiveness of the talks will be achieved when any dialogue and consultation with Kabul takes place at the appropriate time”.
Meanwhile UNAMA head briefed Minister Muttaqi about the UN-led Doha meeting and said the participating members of the Doha meeting emphasized on continuation of interaction with Afghanistan.
