KABUL: A collision between a train and a double-decker passenger bus in central Mexico, has resulted in at least 10 deaths and 61 injuries.
According to Reuters, the train operating company “CPKC” attributed the incident to driver negligence and a disregard for railway crossing rules, which are often the main causes of such accidents.
The injured have been transported to local hospitals, with some reported to be in critical condition.
Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident, emphasizing that failure to observe signs and stop locations at railway crossings frequently leads to significant human casualties.
