UN Security Council to approve resolution on Pakistan-Afghanistan conflicts

KABUL: The United Nations Security Council has described the recent clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan as concerning in its latest report.

According to the report, the Security Council intends to pass a resolution related to the ongoing conflicts between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Council members plan to hold an informal consultative meeting to receive briefings from UN officials regarding the impacts of the conflict and the situation in the region.

This comes at a time when negotiations have reached an impasse three times due to unreasonable demands from the Pakistani side regarding the ongoing crisis between the two countries.
