KABUL: Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, the Minister of Higher Education, has traveled to Oman at the head of a delegation for an official visit.
The Ministry of Higher Education announced today, that the purpose of this visit is to meet and engage in discussions with Omani government officials, aimed at expanding scientific cooperation and exchanging experiences between Kabul and Muscat.
During his trip Shaikh Neda Mohammad is also scheduled to visit several educational institutions in Oman, said the ministry, adding that strengthening academic relations between Afghanistan and Oman is also included in their agenda.
Previously, the Minister of Higher Education had undertaken a similar visit to Iran.
