Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat: IEA has taken essential steps against administrative corruption and to ensure transparency

KABUL: Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, said in a statement on Wednesday, that the government has taken significant steps to combat administrative corruption and ensure transparency and corruption decreased compared to the past.
He expressed regret that some organizations, which do not have representation or presence in Afghanistan, base their judgments on guesses and assumptions instead of conducting field research and utilizing reliable sources.
The Deputy Spokesman stated, “We hope they come and see for themselves how effective and significant the efforts have been in simplifying administrative processes, eliminating corruption, and establishing transparency.”
He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate has achieved tangible achievements in the fight against administrative corruption.
This comes as Afghanistan recently ranked 169th out of 182 countries in the Global Economic Index.
