KABUL: A Pakistani military post has been destroyed in Goshta District of Nangarhar Province as part of the ongoing “Radd al-Zulm” operation carried out by Afghan forces against Pakistani troops.
Mawlavi Wahidullah Mohammadi, spokesperson for the 201st Khalid bin Walid Army Corps, said that the post was targeted in the Galo area of Goshta District, located along the disputed Durand Line, using mortar fire and SPG-9 weapons.
He said the attack was successfully carried out by troops from the 1st Battalion of the 2nd Border Brigade of the 201st Corps.
However, the spokesperson did not provide information about possible casualties among Pakistani soldiers stationed at the post.
