Afghan forces seize Pakistani outpost, kill 14 soldiers, wound 11

KABUL: The country’s Ministry of National Defense said that Afghan forces, in continuation of their retaliatory operation “Radd Al-Zulm,” captured a Pakistani military outpost, resulting in 14 soldiers killed and 11 others wounded.

The ministry’s media office said in a statement today that the outpost was targeted in response to “crimes by the Pakistani military” along the Durand Line in the provinces of Kunar and Nangarhar.

According to the statement, Afghan forces destroyed one Pakistani armored tank and an International truck during the assault.

The ministry noted that Afghan forces carried out additional attacks on Pakistani military targets within Pakistan, including the capital Islamabad, just one day prior.
