Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid: Pakistan will face response after Kandahar strike

KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said Pakistan would soon face a response after carrying out airstrikes in Kandahar Province.
Speaking on Sunday, Mujahid said Pakistani military forces bombed part of a drug rehabilitation center and an empty container in the province overnight.
He added that the strikes caused no casualties.
Mujahid warned that Pakistan would “soon see the response” to what he described as aggression.
The remarks came after Afghan air forces reportedly targeted key Pakistani military facilities in Islamabad two nights earlier in retaliation for earlier bombings by Pakistani forces.
