KABUL: Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Interior Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with former president Hamid Karzai to exchange Eid greetings and discuss recent developments.
According to reports, both sides emphasized national unity, as well as the importance of safeguarding Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
They also offered prayers for those killed in recent bombings.
The meeting comes amid heightened tensions following recent attacks attributed to Pakistan.
